10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Chair Flex & Stretch - Chair Flex & Stretch Chair Flex & StretchAdults 18+ Suitable for those who prefer a gentler approach to exercise and want to improve mobility, strength, and balance to the entire body.  Great for those with Arthritis*, providing participants with a fun and beneficial exercise experience that can supplement, but not replace exercises that are prescribed by a doctor or therapist.This group exercise program has been specially designed and modified to incorporate a series of movement and proper exercise techniques to help increase overall stamina. Set to music to rejuvenate you, this class is done while sitting in a chair so the pelvis and hips are stabilized, enabling easier movement of the torso and arms without fear of injury or strain.  Optional standing posture alternatives will be introduced as well, with the use of a chair for balance and support. No mat exercises or lying on the floor.  Canes, walkers and fitness poles are welcome. *Adults with any type of arthritis or fibromyalgia are eligible.  Participants must be able to walk independently or, if in a wheelchair, they must be able to transfer to a straight-backed chair.  Before you start any exercise program, you should consult your physician.   Please park in the back lot and enter the double glass doors near the receiving garage. 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Chair Flex & Stretch - Chair Flex & Stretch Chair Flex & StretchAdults 18+ Suitable for those who prefer a gentler approach to exercise and want to improve mobility, strength, and balance to the entire body.  Great for those with Arthritis*, providing participants with a fun and beneficial exercise experience that can supplement, but not replace exercises that are prescribed by a doctor or therapist.This group exercise program has been specially designed and modified to incorporate a series of movement and proper exercise techniques to help increase overall stamina. Set to music to rejuvenate you, this class is done while sitting in a chair so the pelvis and hips are stabilized, enabling easier movement of the torso and arms without fear of injury or strain.  Optional standing posture alternatives will be introduced as well, with the use of a chair for balance and support. 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Chair Flex & Stretch - Chair Flex & Stretch Chair Flex & StretchAdults 18+ Suitable for those who prefer a gentler approach to exercise and want to improve mobility, strength, and balance to the entire body.  Great for those with Arthritis*, providing participants with a fun and beneficial exercise experience that can supplement, but not replace exercises that are prescribed by a doctor or therapist.This group exercise program has been specially designed and modified to incorporate a series of movement and proper exercise techniques to help increase overall stamina. Set to music to rejuvenate you, this class is done while sitting in a chair so the pelvis and hips are stabilized, enabling easier movement of the torso and arms without fear of injury or strain.  Optional standing posture alternatives will be introduced as well, with the use of a chair for balance and support. Students will play creative drama games, build stage skills and explore popular musicals while having a lot of fun! No experience necessary. Focus is put on developing social skills and a positive self image through the performing arts. Parents are invited to a showcase on the last day!Can’t commit to the whole week? Drop-In Days are available!Our Drop-In Days allow students to join in on the fun, even if they can only attend for a portion of the camp. Each day features new material, so whether your child participates for one day, a few days or the entire week, they’ll have fun playing theater games, building stage skills and learning a new musical theater song each day. It’s a flexible, exciting way to explore the world of theater!This camp takes place at Southwood Glen Elementary (9090 S 35th Street, Franklin). 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Chair Flex & Stretch - Chair Flex & Stretch Chair Flex & StretchAdults 18+ Suitable for those who prefer a gentler approach to exercise and want to improve mobility, strength, and balance to the entire body.  Great for those with Arthritis*, providing participants with a fun and beneficial exercise experience that can supplement, but not replace exercises that are prescribed by a doctor or therapist.This group exercise program has been specially designed and modified to incorporate a series of movement and proper exercise techniques to help increase overall stamina. Set to music to rejuvenate you, this class is done while sitting in a chair so the pelvis and hips are stabilized, enabling easier movement of the torso and arms without fear of injury or strain.  Optional standing posture alternatives will be introduced as well, with the use of a chair for balance and support. 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM	Kids Club (Monthly Schedule) - Ben Franklin 24/25 AM Tax Information:  Click Here  39-60255832024-2025 Registration InformationThe Franklin Community Education & Recreation Department offers before and after school care for 4K*-5th grade at all Franklin Elementary Schools.  Being a proud partner of Franklin Public Schools, Kids Club focuses on the district's core values: Equity, Personal Growth, Innovation, Stewardship and Well-Being of all.  Kids Club offers a variety of activity choices:  Free play, gym activities, games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.  A morning snack & afternoon snack are provided.  Please bring your own water bottle daily.  * A Midday 4K Kids Club program is not offered.  Morning 4K students can attend AM Kids Club and afternoon 4K students can attend PM Kids Club. Registration opens April 1.  For more information, please view the Kids Club Information and Rate Sheet along with the Kids Club Parent HandbookAnnual Membership Registration Dates Register for your child’s school Annual Membership. 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM	Barre - Barre Barre Co-op with Muskego & Oak CreekAdult 18+  Barre, pronounced "bar", fatigues each muscle group via small targeted movements, high reps and low resistance. Sections of class are also paired with stretching to increase overall flexibility  Using heavy duty chairs for balance, this class is designed to boost endurance, improve balance, increase range of motion, promote better posture, and help with weight management. You DO NOT need any dance background to take this class. Just come excited to try something NEW for YOU!   Please park in the back lot and enter the double glass doors near the receiving garage. Do not enter the main office. INSTRUCTOR: Amanda Maughan
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM	Chair Flex & Stretch - Chair Flex & Stretch Chair Flex & StretchAdults 18+ Suitable for those who prefer a gentler approach to exercise and want to improve mobility, strength, and balance to the entire body.  Great for those with Arthritis*, providing participants with a fun and beneficial exercise experience that can supplement, but not replace exercises that are prescribed by a doctor or therapist.This group exercise program has been specially designed and modified to incorporate a series of movement and proper exercise techniques to help increase overall stamina. Set to music to rejuvenate you, this class is done while sitting in a chair so the pelvis and hips are stabilized, enabling easier movement of the torso and arms without fear of injury or strain.  Optional standing posture alternatives will be introduced as well, with the use of a chair for balance and support. No mat exercises or lying on the floor.  Canes, walkers and fitness poles are welcome. *Adults with any type of arthritis or fibromyalgia are eligible.  Participants must be able to walk independently or, if in a wheelchair, they must be able to transfer to a straight-backed chair.  Before you start any exercise program, you should consult your physician.   Please park in the back lot and enter the double glass doors near the receiving garage.
