The camps focus is put on developing imagination, social skills and a positive self image through the performing arts. Family and friends are invited to a special performance on the last day of camp!Students will learn new stage skills as well as build on the ones they already know; so new and returning students are welcome. Ages 7-12
AUGUST 8 - 12, 12:30 - 3:30 pm ~OR~ AUGUST 15 - 19, 9 am - 12 pm
In this fun-filled half day camp, students will learn songs and scenes from the popular Disney movie, Encanto! Campers will get to try out different characters, styles and songs while playing theatre games and learning stage skills. Family and friends are invited to a special performance at the end of the week!
YOUTUBE STARS
Ages 7 - 12
AUGUST 15 - 19, 12:30 - 3:30 pm
Ever dreamed of being a YouTube star? Well now’s your chance! Students will develop their own Youtube personality and have a blast creating unique video content! Vlogging, tutorials, challenges and product reviews will be covered. Learning how to act on camera will be a strong focus, as well as online safety. Get noticed and become the next viral sensation!
* Please note, students will not create or use a YouTube channel at camp or upload anything to YouTube. It is up to the parent/legal guardian to create a channel outside of camp if they choose to do so and this decision is independent of participation in the Character Kids camp program.
