Crafting Corner - Specialized Crafting Workshops

September: Needle Felting
Needle Felting is a creative craft that involves sculpting shapes and figures using wool and a special felting needle. No experience is necessary. Come and try something new; dry needle felting using a cookie cutter! *Please bring your favorite metal cookie cutter shape and a gardening-type glove for finger protection. (I will provide all of the other materials.)
October: Knooking
Knooking is knitting with a special type of crochet hook. If you have never crocheted or knitted before… you can learn to knook! Join me for some relaxing hooking in a new way! *Please bring your favorite color of 100% cotton, size 4, yarn. (I will provide the hook.)
November: Leather Crafting
Have you ever wanted to try leather crafting? Well, here’s your chance! Come and have some fun and learn how to make a leather bracelet or key chain for yourself or as a gift. *All materials will be provided.
December: Tissue Box Gnomes
Many of you have joined me this time of year for my “Gnome Craft Class.” Please come again or come for the first time! This year we will be making a tissue box gnome. This gnome will be happy to keep your Kleenex ready for you to use during the cold weather. So, come and bring some of your gnomies to craft with you! *Please bring a square box of Kleenex (approx. 8x8 in) and a glue gun if you have one. (All other materials will be provided.)
